Personal Information:

Ulf graduated in Computer Science at Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences and contributes his more than 15 years of experience in the IT sector with a “thinking cloud & agile” mind-set since 2008.
Before starting a journey in the Telecom Sector, Ulf participated in delivering various Web-Scale Environments projects including: Transformations from classical Datacentre Structures to fully integrated agile and business-minded service pipes covering infrastructure, development, & business.

Ulf directed various Telecom & IT engineering related projects, such as:

• The rollout of the first European Convergent (Fix/Mobile/VoLTE) fully Virtualised IMS, including EPC, IP/MPLS Backbone and the supporting SDN and Security Stack, making him one of the best 5G experts.
• Leading the development of a strategically focused and product driven digitisation framework for their micro-services eco-system living on a core platform (XBrain) for Metro Group.
• Supervising the deployment of NG fully 5G enabled network incl. full OSS system. In MALO Capitals and Consulting, he is in charge of innovation, R&D, and technology departments and has assumed the responsibility for XBRAIN as well as XCSP for Hyperoptic.

He established a new Microservice based architecture as IoT API Gateway covering business and user centric development approaches. The mentioned Microservices were developed in a cloud-native approach, leveraging Kubernetes in production level since the beginning of 2016, and provided the foundation of XBRAIN.
